The PreEvolution - High Capacity Pre-Filter helps ensure your Evolution RO-1000 runs more efficiently by adding an additional two stages of filtration. The sediment filter is cleanable and re-usable, while the catalytic carbon filter uses a combination of KDF85 and KDF55 for reducing chlorine, chloramines, iron, sulfur, and heavy metals - great for city or well water. The added filtration extends filter life from 2,000 gallons to 7,500 gallons. Highly recommended when using more than 150 gallons of purified water per week.
